Welcome to the world of technology mindfulness.
In the humble quest of sharing across, I bring to you this post (a first of hopefully many to come). To help you jump start your journey, and achieve technology awareness and empowerment – one bullet point at a time :)
- Stay safe - Good things happen to those who are good, but bad things can happen to anyone. Update your mail, Facebook security etc. and set up two-factor authentication for additional security. After all to err is human but so is to steal.
- Stay focused - Clearing your desktop can be the first step in clearing the mess and your mind. And science says that clearing out the clutter is actually good for you!
- Stay clean - Cleanliness is a godly virtue, even when you consider your laptop and your keyboard. A clean screen means less glare and smudges, but also means less frustration when your eyes are busy. Also, a clean keyboard means cleaner germ-free hands.
- Stay a student - Do something new with your computer - Learn to Code! Learning knows no age limit and it is never too late to start learning. Use resources like Solo Learn and https://code.org/ to start off your journey! As Jeff Bezos says "Every day is Day One".
- Stay in control - And last but not the least, learn to stay in control, as technology addiction is a real problem.
That is it for now.. hope
you liked the above and are able to take away something of use.
